there is some new information about disk restoring

The mp3 disk is clean and perfect, all mp3 were tested ok! So that is GREAT news :) The SQL disk is .. really broken. They are trying to move magnetic parts to another system in a white room to retrieve all data.

I will have more news at the end of the week.

This company is ALMOST near Lyon (100 km), so maybe it's less expensive to take my car.

I have some contacts about powerful unix hosting but for the streaming source engine (playlist rotation, dabatase, jingles etc ..) i need a Win32 server.

More power = More dedicated & differents streams

I know the requirements are high. Here in France i could have the first for 50 € / months (KIMSUFFI) and the second one for 65 € months (SUPER PLAN)

First i need to check 2 hd.

The server one (250 GB) could not contains the mysql datas as they were in a idata mysql file and this file contains some other websites datas i hosted. So the file moved after the database deletion. But we can restore the 64 Gb of mp3 as i saw it with some utilities. But i prefer to ask a company to restore everything. That the biggest part of Nectarine and it will be a shame to lose everything just coz i wanted to use a freeware software ...

The second HD is mine, which crashed last week end. I bought a new one so i don't need money for it ;) I just need money to restore the MYSQL .SQL files on it (Two backup from august and july).

Here is the estimate of the price.

• To send 2 HD to the company : 32 € x 2

• Restoring the full mp3 directory from DISK#1 : 5 € / GB (320 €)
• Restoring 2 .sql files from DISK#2 : 200 €

• Testing 25 % of files randomly : Offer
• Testing the whole two .sql files : Offer

• Price to send 2 HD to me again : 32 € x 2

So ...

64+320+200+64 = 648 euros 7 % of Paypal taxes when you donate = 45,38 euros

As Chipin is in $, the exchange rate for paypal right now is

1$ = 0,688 €

So we need (648+45,38) * (1 / 0,688) = 1007 $ exactly

I'm waiting for the 2nd and the 3rd Estimate at the beginning of next week.
